A Taste of the West End comes to Marine Hall

If you're a big fan of musicals make sure you don't miss the WestEnders as they bring their new hit show Hear the People Sing to Marine Hall on Friday 11 April.

A company of past members of the West End production Les Miserablés, WestEnders have performed in theatres all over the world have wowed audiences for over a decade.

Hear the People Sing is an inspired evening featuring all your favourite songs from the musicals including Phantom of the Opera, Mamma Mia, Blood Brothers, We Will Rock You, Wicked, Hairpsray, Thriller Live and Evita, plus the iconic, timeless songs from Les Miserablés all backed by top musicians and exciting new arrangements.

The cast is made up of six outstanding vocalists including Lancashire born Jon Osbaldeston. Jon has appeared in many West End shows including Les Miserables and Fiddler on the Roof. More recently he has been appearing in Canada in the world premiere of a new adaptation of A Christmas Carol to critical acclaim.

Jon is joined by the talented Frances Fry, Stephen Weller, Andrew Newey, Linda Jarvis and Jill Nalder all of whom boast an impressive catalogue of top London show performances.

WestEnders are led by musical director Jae Alexander. Jae has worked as a conductor with some of the most famous orchestras in the world, including The Royal Philharmonic Concert Orchestra, The Philharmonia, The English National Orchestra and The Wren Orchestra. Attracting audiences in excess of six thousand to many of his concerts, these events have seen Jae accompanying many international stars such as Sarah Brightman, Willard White, Sarah Walker, Charlotte Church and Julian Lloyd Webber. Most recently Jae conducted the Queens Diamond Jubilee Concert at the Royal Albert Hall starring Russell Watson.
