‘Tis the Season to be jolly at Marine Hall

It’s coming up to that time of year again and this Christmas there’s a lot to enjoy at Marine Hall, Fleetwood.

First up to get you into the festive spirit is the Marine Hall Christmas Market on Sunday 30 November. Following on from the hugely successful Fylde Coast Food and Drink Festival this summer, the venue will once again be brimming with the best of local food producers as well as some lovely craft and gift stalls – there’ll be everything you need for your festive celebrations.

Why not treat yourself to a glass of mulled wine while you browse the stalls, pick up individual handcrafted items and stock up on tasty treats for Christmas time. Entry is free and you’ll get the chance to choose food for the big day while you fill up your cheeseboard, grab some tasty chutney and stock up on delightful drinks so get the date in your diary and enjoy a merry day out.

Next up is the ever popular annual pantomime. This year Trio Entertainment is proud to present Cinderella, starring X-Factor finalist Chris Maloney as Prince Charming and Reece Douglas, best known as Denzil in BBCs Waterloo Road, as Buttons. With hilarious comedy, catchy songs and colourful dance routines, this classic rags-to-riches story has everything you’ve come to expect from a Marine Hall pantomime - and more! It’s the perfect traditional family treat for the whole family. Performances take place from Thursday 11 December until Sunday 14 December and tickets are just £8 each.

Rounding things up is a brilliant Christmas Party night. You may have heard a careless whisper that Marine Hall is hosting an awesome 80s v 90s party night on Friday 19 December. Well the rumours are true so dust off your shoulder pads and leg warmers and get ready for a great night of Christmas celebrations.

Whether you’re a child of the 80s or a 90s wannabe – this is the night for you. There’s live music from Trident band plus a delicious hog roast supper is being served. There’s also a DJ and dancing till late in the magnificent ballroom. Fancy dress is optional but there’s a prize for the best!

Tickets for the Christmas party are just £24 each or £22 if you book a table of ten or more. Doors open at 7pm and the celebrations start at 8pm.

There’s also lots of shows taking place in 2015 so why not pick up some tickets as Christmas gifts for your friends and family. The calendar is packed with big names including The Manfreds, the Searchers, Five Star Swing: The Big Bandthe ever popular Jongleurs comedy nights and children’s favourites Basil Brush and the Chuckle Brothers.
