CineWyre Film Festival brings film to Marine Hall in 2026

Cine-Wyre is an incredible four-day celebration of international film. Be amongst the first to see award winning stories and new content from filmmakers from around the world.

Get ready for a four-day celebration of international film with storytelling, creativity, and cinematic excellence. Taking place from February 26 to March 1, 2026, this debut festival promises to be dynamic, spotlighting diverse voices and bold visions from filmmakers across the globe and provides an opportunity for local film makers in Wyre to see their work on the big screen.

The CineWyre Film Festival transforms the historic Marine Hall into a vibrant hub of film culture where audiences can expect immersive screenings, live Q&A sessions, interactive workshops, and networking events that bring together emerging talent and industry veterans alike.

The festival features four distinct strands:

• Family Friendly
• Documentary
• LGBTQ+
• Horror/Thriller

Each category will showcase new work, with awards presented for Best Film in each strand, alongside accolades for Best Director, Best Screenplay, Best Cinematography, and more.

Festival Director Ed Greenberg shared:

Submissions are now open via FilmFreeway, with early deadlines running through summer 2025. Selected filmmakers will receive promotional support, including social media spotlights and industry recognition.
